To realize his dream he partnered with well-known cigar legend, Mr. Avelino Lara, who for over 30 years was not only the personal cigar roller for Fidel Castro, but prepared the blends for Zino Davidoff's Cuban Cigars and now the inventor of the Famed Cuban Cohiba Cigars is head of the Graycliff Cigar Factory where he creates Graycliff's high-end, limited production cigars.
Graycliff Cigars are made from a Secret Blend of tobacco from Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Brazilian Filler and Indonesian Wrapper and Binder. The tobaccos are aged for about two years and once the cigars are rolled they are aged for another six to nine months.
